Just recall PK movie. He has been cast into the alien's world. He tries to comprehend the world. In the same way, absurdist literature tells us that we are alien and we don't have any aim in life. We are just in search of some fruitful objective. So, this is the philosophy which deals with our existence. Its advocacy has been done through the philosophy called Existential Philosophy of Jean Paul Sartre.  Its roots are in surrealism and expressionism. Surrealism just tries to comprehend the illogical scenes or what we have in our unconscious mind. It resolves to bridge between reality and imagination to form super-reality or surreality.  Expressionism refers to the subjective analysis of anything what one sees. Like what PK thinks about this world when he comes here.  Alfred Jarry's work Ubu Roi is the first work.  Tricks 1. FaTiMa - Franz Kafka's The Trial, Metamorphosis 2. AMAvaSYA- Albert Camus' The Myth of Sisyphus 3. EBILS- Eugene Ionesco's The Bold Soprano 4. Waiting for End i.e. Death of Unnamed person Samuel Beckett's Waiting for Godot Endgame Malone Dies  The Unnamable 5. TaRGeT- Tom Stoppard's Rosencrantz and Guildstern are dead Learn it like this
